Nice to meet you

I'm Sophia, and my journey began in sunny Australia, leading me to the beautiful North Cotswolds in 2013, which I now proudly call home. As a fellow small business owner – a local yoga instructor – I intimately understand the daily joys and challenges you face. This personal insight, combined with my extensive corporate background in diverse sectors like hospitality, logistics, and not-for-profits, gives me a unique perspective. It allows me to look beyond the numbers and truly support the day-to-day running of your business, enabling you to focus on what you do best.

In terms of my history, I met my now husband while I was working as a management accountant in London in 2000, became fully qualified as a Certified Practising Accountant in 2003, went back to Australia in 2004, then came to the Cotswolds with hubby and son in 2013 - as our son has now left school, I have embarked on my own and became AML registered in 2025 and carry full professional indemnity insurance.

From my roots in Australia to now living in my husband, son and dog in the North Cotswold countryside, I love understanding people. My experience isn't just theoretical; running my own yoga business, teaching business to international students and accounting apprentices has given me first-hand insight into the unique hurdles small enterprises encounter. I bring a broad, practical view to managing your business's financial health, helping you navigate complexities with ease.

Even though I am based in the North Cotswolds, my clients extend throughout the UK and globally, I am only a Teams or Zoom call away!
